Resources

The following resources exist in DCZ: ammo, fuel, construction units (CUs), credits and research points (RPs).

The first three are all produced in conflict zones owned by you with the help of buildings and are stored locally. You need ammo factories to produce ammo, pumping stations to collect fuel and factories to get contruction units. With the help of the later, you can build units, while you need fuel to move them from the CZ they are in to another.

To begin a fight you need enough fuel for your units to have a full tank load and sufficient ammo to fully equip them. If you don`t use all the prepaired ammo and fuel, you get the surplus back after the fight. The amount of these three resources gained per turn is depended on your level of research and can be seen in the research panel.

Those three locally stored resources can also be exported from one CZ to any adjacent zone. You can do this once or automatically every turn. They will however take a turn to arrive. Should a zone be under attack, that is importing resoures, trucks will take part in fights in DCS World. They start in the zone that is exporting and they have to arrive in there target zone, otherwise, the transported resources are lost to you.

Credits and reaserch points are also produced in CZs, but are stored globally. RPs are produced in science buildings. To build them, you need not only credits, but also three infantry units, that have to be placed in the CZ directly via the pawn manager. [picture] Contrary to all other resources, RPs can be allocated directly after the science buildings are built, you can do so in the research panel.

Credits are gained from CZs themselfs and at a fixed rate. You can´t increase the credits you gain from a zone, but you also don´t have to build anything to do so. You need credits to pay for buildings and units and also to pay human pilots via contracts.
