Pawns

Pawns are movable entites in DCZ, that consist of groups of units and are always stationed in one conflict zone. They are automatically created, if you build any type of unit and don´t already have a pawn in your CZ.

Pawns are not limited concerning the numbers of units and groups they can hold. You can however only have 9 pawns in any CZ. [?] Moving them from CZ to other CZs costs fuel (which will be subtracted from the zone the units start in) and can not be done without a sufficient amount. Infantry needs no fuel to move.

Pawns can be moved as often as you want, aslong as you have the requiered fuel. An exception is the case that you conquer a neutral zone, any pawns moved there can´t be moved again until the next turn.

Pawns containing ground units can only be moved to adjacent CZs while pawns consisting only of aircrafts can move to any zone with an airport.

You and all other players can see 4 numbers next to each pawn, showing the number of infantry, ground units, aircrafts and helicopters in them.

Pawns can be organised in the pawn manager. Here you can allocate units to pawns and groups. Groups can only consist of one typ of unit and will be in this constellation in DCS World (there you can only control groups, if you want a unit to be controlable on it´s own, put it in a group of it´s own).

SAM-units need to be in one group with to work!
